Divorce Hurts. Find help at DivorceCare.
DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. It's a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling. It's a place where you can hear valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce. DivorceCare meets on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Call the church office (252) 446-9113 for more information or to see when the next session begins.

Stephen Ministry is. . . a minstry of our congregation that equips lay persons to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.
Stephen Ministers are committed Christian people who . . . express God's care through their lives to others; receive 50 hours of initial training; visit another person regularly and dependably and offer Christian support and care; are committed to preserving the confidential nature of the caring relationship.
Who could use a Stephen Minister? There are times when each of us needs the care of another person, a Christian friend. These needs include but are not limited to . . . those who are hospitalized, the terminally ill and their families, those grieving a death or serious loss, the homebound, those with a job cirsis, the aging and elderly, the separated or divorced, those facing life transitions.

SureCord Family Counseling Center. This family counseling center is a ministry of the Christian Counseling Consortium. The consortium is the cooperative effort of several local Rocky Mount churches. All fees and gifts go directly to support and expand this resouce in our community. Fees are based on a sliding scale. It is our belief that God's principles applied in a loving and practical way by a trained and licensed counselor can provide real answers to the real issues of life.
